Móra la Nova is home to one of the largest railway facilities in Catalonia. Around the railway, between 1890 and the 70’s of the twentieth century, there was a whole auxiliary industry associated with the depot of locomotives in the town, where almost one hundred units were assigned at its highest moment. The museum is recovering the material and immaterial elements of this story that was about to be lost forever and is now the inspiration for several future projects around the current train station.

A 12th-century Templar fortress, built on a hill that controls the entire territory, the Ebro river that passes through its feet and dominates the entire population of Miravet. In good condition, it is one of the great examples of its style in Western Europe. You can visit the walls and different rooms such as stables, cistern, kitchen, refectory, warehouses or the important Romanesque church. It is managed by the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The Sebes Nature Reserve is one of the most important natural areas in the Terres de l’Ebre. Together with the Flix Meander, it covers an area of ​​over 250 hectares of open water areas, wetlands, riparian forests, river islands and “galatxos”. The great diversity of habitats that the Reserve holds makes it an important point for the conservation of biodiversity, both fauna and flora and vegetation. Some of the species present in the Reserve are classified as scarce or very rare in Catalonia, or even as endemic.

Feel the Ebro up close by sailing with the boat Lo Roget, a modern replica of the traditional boats on the Ebro that operates from Easter until the beginning of autumn.

Lo Roget travels between Ascó and Vinebre, crossing one of the most spectacular river landscapes in the Catalan high Ebro, el Pas de l’Ase. In this small gorge, the river makes its way through landscapes of great beauty. You can enjoy the whisper of the water and admire the riparian forests and the abundant birds that live there.

El Castellet de Banyoles is one of the most important Iberian cities in Catalonia, with an area of ​​approximately 4.2 hectares, located 6 km from the town of Tivissa, in a strategic point of control over the river Ebro. It is accessed from the road between Móra la Nova and Tivissa.

It forms a walled peninsula with two magnificent pentagonal defense towers at the entrance, the foundations of a good set of houses and a natural cut that dominates the river Ebro with a spectacular view over the river, its islands and the massif of els Ports.
